Save Energy: As time goes on, the devices can “learn” the behavior of their users. For example, a thermostat can adjust temperature on its own based on past user adjustments. If the user constantly lowered the temperature at 9 p.m. before bed, the thermostat will recognize this and make changes accordingly.
Connectedness: The devices can connect to each other, sharing necessary information and reducing the risk of human error upon manual data input.
Data Accessibility: Information is available whenever you need it, making decisions easier. For example, the smart refridgerator will tell you the temperature outside, then suggest a specific food you may have at that moment.
